Live updates as crash shuts North Staffordshire road
A North Staffordshire road has been shut this morning following a crash. The incident in Brown Edge[1] has seen the closure put in place between Hough Hill and Hill Top to Ladymoor Lane. Meanwhile highways workers from Staffordshire County Council[2] are also at the scene this morning with a gritting wagon spotted being sent down the route.
A large recovery truck has also arrived. The rural road provides a link from Brown Edge[3] to Biddulph Moor. This morning and drivers are looking for alternative routes.
No details of the collision have yet been released.
