LIVE: Woodhead Pass closed in both directions after crash with queues forming
A major road connecting Greater Manchester and South Yorkshire is closed in both directions following a collision. Queues are forming around the A628 Woodhead Pass this rush hour due to the accident between the B6105 (Glossop Turn Off, Tintwistle) and The Church (Woodhead). There is congestion to surrounding routes through Hollingworth, Wooley Bridge and Mottram in Longdendale, according to Inrix.
The A57 is back to the M62 Hattersley Roundabout.
Traffic is also building on the A57 eastbound between the junctions with the A6018 and the A628.
