M3 shut at Winchester due to lorry fire
A lorry fire has shut a stretch of the M3 motorway in Hampshire. The westbound carriageway is closed between junction 11 for Winchester and junction 12 for Eastleigh. National Highways said police and several fire crews were at the scene tackling the blaze.
Traffic is being diverted off the motorway at junction 11 onto the A3090 through Otterbourne. Motorists are being urged to re-route or delay their journeys. Follow BBC South on Facebook[1], X, or Instagram[2].
