M5 traffic live: Motorway closed in West Country after lorry overturns
People heading down the M5 to the West Country from Gloucestershire are facing long delays after a lorry overturned in Devon. The incident happened between junction 28 for Cullompton and junction 29 for Exeter and Honiton at around 7.55am. The southbound carriageway has been blocked and diversions are in place. National Highways[1] said emergency services are at the scene
The latest from traffic and travel service Inrix says: “M5 Southbound blocked, delays due to overturned lorry from J28 A373 Honiton Road ( Cullompton / Service Area) to J29 A3015 Honiton Road (Exeter / Honiton ).
The road has been closed since around 07:55.”
