M5 traffic live: Motorway shut as police and fire race to three-car crash scene
All traffic is being held on the M5. Drivers face long delays and there is stationary traffic due to a three-car crash. The incident happened on the northbound carriageway from J20 B3133 Ettlingen Way ( Clevedon ) to J19 A369 Martcombe Road (Portishead).
Traffic[1] is crawling along halfway back to J21 ( Weston-super-mare ). Emergency crews are at the scene and drivers should avoid the area. “Traffic has been held since around 08:30 whilst emergency services deal with a three-vehicle crash,” traffic monitoring system Inrix says.
