M6 crash live as drivers facing huge delays near Castle Bromwich
Motorists were facing major delays on the M6 northbound[1] this morning after a crash blocked lanes. Traffic built up between junctions five, for Castle Bromwich, and six, Spaghetti Junction. Delays of more than 45 minutes were expected.
West Midlands Roads posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, to announce the ‘major disruption’. It read: “M6 northbound J5, Castle Bromwich, to J6, Birmingham, RTC with lanes closed. Delays of 45-plus minutes back to M42 links.”
