M621 fully open after closure amid ‘police incident’
The motorway was shut both ways at around 9.45am due to the incident between junction three, for Meadow Road, and junction four, for the A61 at Hunslet Distributor, according to travel monitoring site Inrix. Shortly before 11.45am, a National Highways spokesperson said the closure had been lifted. The spokesperson added: “The earlier West Yorkshire[1] Police-led incident has now been cleared.
“Delays of approximately 10 minutes remain on the approach, both ways.”
At this stage[2], no further information is known about the exact nature of the incident.
