Man in critical condition after stabbing at The Hale
Police were called yesterday (December 20) at 6.25pm to reports of a man assaulted in The Hale, Tottenham. A man, 22, was found with stab injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he is still in a critical condition. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “His next of kin has been informed.
No arrests (have been made); enquiries into the circumstances continue by detectives from Haringey CID. “Work continues to establish the motive for the assault and there will be additional patrols in the area.” Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or contact @MetCC on X / Twitter quoting CAD5818/20Dec.

In a separate incident[1], officers have closed off Craven Park Road, between Stamford Hill and South Tottenham, less than a ten-minute drive away from the stabbing. Police were first called to Craven Park Road at 5.28am this morning (December 21) after a member of the public reported they were threatened with an axe.
Officers attended a residential address where a man was seen in possession of a knife and an axe and was threatening self-harm.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers have contained the scene and are speaking to the man.
“Local roads are closed while officers deal.”
