Man seriously injured in Swindon gang attack targets duo

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with serious injuries following a serious assault in Swindon. The incident happened in the Eastmere/Liden Drive area of town between 9pm and 10pm on Friday, November 17. According to Wiltshire Police[1], two men were attacked by approximately three or four other men during the incident.

As a result of the assault, one man in his 20s was left with serious injuries. His injuries included a fractured cheek, fractured eye socket and laceration to his face. Police are asking anyone in the area with any information or CCTV footage to come forward.

In a statement, the force said: “Unfortunately, we do not have a description of the suspects, however we believe there may be witnesses to this incident and would urge residents living in the local area to check doorbell cameras, dash cam or CCTV from the evening for any relevant footage. “If you can help, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54230122132.
