Man who carried knife at train station jailed

A man who carried a knife at Kent’s busiest railway station has been jailed for six months.

Rackeem Thomas, 18, of no fixed address, was stopped for not having a ticket by inspectors at Dartford station.

Police officers’ suspicions were then raised by Thomas’ behaviour, and he then provided a fake name to officers.

He was jailed on Tuesday after pleading guilty to possession of a pointed or bladed article.
