Manchester man arrested in connection with stolen firearm

MANCHESTER — Police have arrested 31-year-old Jefferson Kimball in connection with the theft of a firearm from a truck on Manchester Street last month. Officials reported that the theft occurred overnight on Nov.

23 when someone broke into the vehicle and stole the weapon. Through their investigation, authorities obtained surveillance footage showing a male figure in the vicinity of the truck around the time of the incident.

The suspect, identified as Kimball, a Manchester resident without a fixed address, became the focus of the investigation. Police established probable cause and subsequently issued a warrant for his arrest. Kimball was apprehended on Tuesday and has been charged with Theft by Unauthorized Taking and Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.

He was scheduled for arraignment on Dec.

6 at Hillsborough Superior Court North.
