Manchester woman dies in highway guardrail crash

A 27-year-old Manchester woman died early Thursday morning when the car she was driving drifted off Interstate 293 south in Bedford, crashed into a guardrail end cap and spun further down the roadway, authorities said Saturday. Kayla Ramirez, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel shortly after 12:45 am. Her passenger, Shaylynn Price, 19, of Pittsfield, suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.

Price was believed to be wearing a seatbelt, according to a State Police report.
