A married couple have been killed in a crash when their Skoda Octavia collided with a police forensic vehicle.

The smash happened at 10.15am on Saturday on the A458 between Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth.

The husband, who was in his sixties and his wife, who was in her fifties, both died at the scene in Morville Heath, Shropshire.

'We ask that their privacy is respected.

I would also like to reassure the public that we have referred the incident to the IOPC.'
