No Injuries Following Multi-Vehicle Crash On M18
Emergency services attended the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the M18 motorway this morning.Three cars are understood to have been involved in the collision, which happened around 8 o’clock, beneath the flyover at junction 11. The circumstances are not entirely clear however Traffic Infrastructure Ireland reported on X, formerly Twitter, that the incident involved a flat tyre or blow-out. When TII motorway maintenance crews arrived they found three cars had been involved with two stopped in grass median.

Gardai arrived and spoke with the three drivers all of whom were uninjured.
Gardai were able to move the two cars clear of the median to the safety of the hard shoulder while TII crews cleared debris and engine fluids from the motorway.
The vehicles were only recovered from the scene at 11.20am, over three hours after the incident had occurred.
There are no reports of any injuries and the scene was cleared three hours after the incident.
