A woman who died in a tragic accident in Co Fermanagh on Wednesday has been named locally as Philomena Baker (75).
Her death notice describes her as the “beloved wife of Finian and devoted mother to Fiona, Martin, Michelle and Aoibheann.
Funeral arrangements for Mrs Baker are yet to be finalised.
“Family home private to family and close friends until funeral arrangements are finalised,” added the notice.
Earlier on Wednesday the PSNI had confirmed they had closed the Castlebalfour Road in Lisnaskea following a crash in the area at around 1pm in the afternoon as they investigated an “accidental death”.
The road has since reopened.
A number of online tributes have been paid to Mrs Baker, who had celebrated her 75th birthday earlier this month.
Fermanagh South Tyrone MLA Aine Murphy said the community had been left “shocked and saddened” by Mrs Baker’s death.
“Our entire community is in a deep sense of shock and indeed sadness this evening,” she said.
“My thoughts and prayers are with Philomena’s family and friends at this very difficult time.
“The close knit communities of Lisnaskea and Newtownbutler are joined in grief and will rally around the Baker and Mc Manus families as they grieve the loss of Philomena.
“This tragedy has left the entire community shocked and saddened so close to Christmas.
I know that everyone in our community will rally around to support all those affected in what will be difficult days ahead.
“I would also like to pay tribute to the emergency services for their efforts at the scene of this tragic incident.”
NIAS said they had attended the incident and confirmed no one had been taken from the scene.
“The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 12:59 on Wednesday, December 20 following reports of an RTC on Castlebalfour Road Area, Lisnaskea.
“NIAS despatched two Emergency crews, and an Ambulance Officer to the incident.
“No one was taken from scene.”
