Nottinghamshire Police issue statement about A46 crash earlier today near Newark

Nottinghamshire Police have put out a statement about a crash that occurred earlier this afternoon on a major road. “Officers were called to the A46, near the Brownhills Roundabout in Newark, following a road traffic collision at around 12.25pm earlier today,” said a police spokesman. “Four vehicles were involved in the collision[1], which resulted in nobody sustaining any injuries.

“Road closures were put in place for around an hour but have since been reopened.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to call the police on 101, quoting incident 286 of 4 December 2023.”
