Number of people rushed to hospital following serious crash on M6 in Warrington

The victim was taken to hospital by air ambulance (Image: CFRS) Emergency services were called to the scene on Thelwall Viaduct at around 7.50am this morning, Monday. This was following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.

Officers attended and found the incident involved two HGVs, a white Ford Zetec and a white Ford Kuga.

Fire and ambulance crews were also called to the scene and the motorway was closed in both directions to allow for an air ambulance to land.
