Orpington Chipperfield Road crash: Teen taken to hospital

Police were called at 11.20am today (December 28) to reports of a moped rider injured on Chipperfield Road. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. The rider, a male believed aged 17, was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police await an update on his condition. Enquiries into the circumstances, including to establish whether any other vehicles were involved, are ongoing. Road closures remain in place.
