Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Willowick

WILLOWICK, Ohio (WOIO) - A pedestrian is facing life-threatening injuries after a hit-and-run in Willowick Monday night.

It happened at the intersection of Lakeshore Blvd. and Vine St. just before 8 p.m.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital from the scene with life-threatening injuries.

Officials say they do not yet have a suspect because they fled the scene.

Police say they will release more information Tuesday.
