Pedestrian seriously injured after crash with lorry in Bristol
A pedestrian has been seriously injured after being involved in a crash with a lorry in Bristol[1]. Officers from Avon and Somerset Police[2] were called to Clarence Road shortly before 1am yesterday (December 14). The road was closed following the crash as emergency services responded.
The injured pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Clarence Road reopened at around 4.30am following an examination of the scene. Police confirmed that no arrests were made.
Avon and Somerset Police said: “Police were called just before 1am on Thursday, December 14, by the ambulance service reporting an injury collision involving a pedestrian and a lorry on Clarence Road, Bristol.
“The injured pedestrian went to hospital with serious injuries which are thankfully not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“The road reopened at about 4.30am after an examination of the scene and there were no arrests.”
