Person injured in three-vehicle collision on A180 involving police car

One person was injured in a collision on the A180[1] after a car collided with a police vehicle which then collided with another car. At around 4.30pm on Friday, officers from Humberside Police attended the A180 to assist after a car had broken down in a live lane. A car then collided with the police vehicle, which then hit another car.

One person is believed to have sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. According to reports, the westbound lane between the Lockhill junction up to Moody Lane was closed for a time following the collision, with drivers experiencing significant delays as the vehicles were recovered. A spokesperson for Humberside Police[2] said: “Officers attended the A180 to assist after a vehicle had broken down in a live lane at around 4.30pm on Friday 15 December.

“Whilst we were at the scene, a car collided with the police vehicle which then collided with another car.

One person is believed to have sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.”
