Police appeal for information after person ‘seriously injured’ in Christmas Eve crash

Police have issued an appeal for information after a crash in Flixton left a person with 'serious injuries'. The crash happened on Trevor Road, shortly after 3.15am on Christmas[1] Eve (December 24). Police say a Grey VW Polo collided with a parked Golf that had a passenger inside.

The passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries, not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The driver of the Grey VW Polo, aged 18, was arrested on suspicion of failure to provide a specimen for analysis and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He was subsequently charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and bailed to appear in court in February.
