Police issue update after three-vehicle crash near Burnham-On-Sea
Police were called to a three-vehicle collision near Burnham-On-Sea on Tuesday evening (December 19th). Fire and ambulance crews also attended the incident, involving two cars and an articulated lorry, on the main road near East Brent. An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman says: “We were called shortly after 5pm on 19th December to a report of a three-vehicle collision on Bridgwater Road, near East Brent.
Police attended, alongside the ambulance service and fire service. The road was closed to allow the vehicles to be recovered. It reopened just after midnight.”
The fire service adds that its crews from Bridgwater and Cheddar attended.
Three of the eight occupants of the vehicles were checked over by ambulance crews for minor injuries.
