Police launch manhunt for wanted Wiltshire man

Michael Cawley is wanted by Wiltshire Police. (Image: Wiltshire Police) A wanted man from Wiltshire is currently being hunted by the police with officers warning the public to be aware. Michael Cawley of Chippenham is wanted by officers on warrant.

The 46-year-old is wanted by officers who released a photograph of him as part of a public appeal to locate him. A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “If you see Michael call us immediately on 999, providing us with a description of what he is wearing, anything he is carrying and his direction of travel. “If you have information which could assist with our enquiries then please call our non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”

Wiltshire police have issued several mugshots of people they are seeking in recent weeks.

On their website wiltshire.police.uk/news they have said: “We are appealing for the public’s help to locate and arrest a number of our most wanted suspects.

“Thanks to your help we have already tracked down and arrested three of our most wanted suspects.”
