Powys crossroad car and van crash leaves one person injured
The two-vehicle collision happened on a crossroad along the B4388 between the town Powys border town and Forden at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, December 6. Everyone who was travelling inside the car and van were out of the vehicles when firefighters arrived at the scene. The road reopened at 9.45pm after the vehicles were recovered from the scene of the crash, Dyfed-Powys Police said.
OTHER NEWS: A Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On Wednesday, December 6, at 6.35pm, a crew from Montgomery Fire Station was mobilised to a road traffic collision on the B4388 between Forden and Montgomery. “The incident involved one private motor vehicle and one van, which had been involved in a collision.
“All individuals in the vehicles were out upon arrival of the crews.
“Crews made the incident safe and provided basic medical care to one individual before handing them over to the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust.”
The fire service remained at the scene until almost 8.15pm, the spokesman added.
