Pregnant woman attacked in road rage assault

A heavily pregnant woman was subjected to a “frightening” assault during a road rage incident in Hereford.

The victim was attacked at 15:30 GMT on Friday while waiting in a car with her son at a junction in Ross Road.

Police said an “irate” driver behind her had started beeping before he got out of his vehicle and started banging on her window.

The woman tried to get out of her car, but the man kicked the open door multiple times, bruising her leg and denting the bodywork, before driving off.
