Preston: Man in hospital after crashing car into lamp post

The incident happened at around 10.45pm last night (Sunday, December 3) on London Way in Preston. Police said the driver, who was in a Honda Civic, collided with a lamp post before the vehicle came to a stop in the carriageway. They added an alcohol test showed he was double the drink-drive limit.
