A stretch of the A548 was closed following a crash. Motorists were urged to avoid the crash, which happened near Llangernyw in Conwy. A North Wales Police statement said: “Due to a road traffic collision the A548 going towards Llangernyw from Llanrwst is closed – just after turning for the Old Vicarage, Pandy Tudur.
