Reward offered for information on East Cleveland murder suspect

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force on Monday offered a reward for information leading to the arrest of a man suspected in a murder in East Cleveland.

U.S. Marshals say 36-year-old Vernitez Bell is wanted for the April 4 shooting death of 38-year-old Domonick Allen.

East Cleveland police previously said a ShotSpotter Technology alert brought officers to the 13600 block of 5th Avenue, where they found Allen's body[1] with no signs of life.

Marshals say Bell is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds.

He is known to frequent the Cleveland area, Marshals confirmed.

Anyone with information on Bell's whereabouts has been asked to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED. Tips can remain anonymous.
