Road closed after crash on the A6 in Whittle-le-Woods

The A6, at the junction with The Ridings, is closed and police are in attendance. Officers said the road will be closed for some time and will provide an update once it is back open. A police spokesperson said: “We’re currently at the scene of a road closure on the A6 at the junction with the Ridings in Chorley.

“The road is closed due to a road traffic collision and we anticipate this will be closed for some time.

“We’ll provide an update once cleared and thank you in advance for your patience.”
