Road closed following crash involving several vehicles (Image: Archive) A ROAD in East Kilbride was closed for around two hours following a crash involving several vehicles. Police were called to the A749 Glasgow Road at the Kingsgate Retail Park at around 7.50pm yesterday following a report of a crash.

One driver was checked over at the scene.

The road reopened at around 9.45pm.
