Road closed for hours after three car crash
A road was closed for hours after three cars crashed. Merseyside Police were called to Eastbourne Road in Southport[1] at 7.23pm on Christmas Day (December 25) following reports of a crash. Once officers got to the scene they found three cars had crashed at the junction of Kew Road.
Pictures from the scene show Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and the North West Ambulance Service also attended. The road was closed in both directions as emergency services respond.
Merseyside Police confirmed to The ECHO one person suffered slight injuries in the crash.
A spokesperson for the force also confirmed no arrests had been made and everyone stopped at the scene. The road reopened shortly after 10pm once the vehicles were recovered from the road. For the latest news and breaking news visit liverpoolecho.co.uk/news[4]
