Ryde Crash Witness Appeal Launched After Knife Wielding BMW Occupants Flee Scene

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision in Oakfield, Ryde. Officers were called at 7.19pm yesterday (11 December) to a report of a crash at the junction of High Street and Harding Road. This involved a silver BMW 3 series and a white Ford Fiesta.
Minor injuries were reported. The two male occupants of the BMW fled the scene on foot after threatening a male occupant of the Fiesta with a knife. A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said:
“We are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact us.
“We would especially like to speak to anyone with relevant CCTV, doorbell or dash cam footage of the incident.”
