Shropshire team claim UK’s first night water parachute display
A team from Shropshire have taken part in what they claim is the UK’s first night water parachute display.
Six people did the jump into Alderford Lake in Whitchurch on 15 December.
They said they trained for months, including carrying out a specific water extraction drill, to make sure they were used to being in the water with a parachute.
The display was organised by Skydive Tilstock Freefall Club and skydiving and base jumping consultancy, Dark Edge Base.
