Speed cameras vandalised weeks after installed
In total the force said it would install 20 new speed cameras across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.
It said it had chosen locations where existing fixed cameras had been effective in reducing the number of collisions.
The new cameras were funded by the Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership, which is a collaboration between the local police, fire service, councils and National Highways.
The new technology automatically sends images of speeding vehicles to the partnership's enforcement team to use as evidence of road traffic offences.
