Traffic building after crash near roundabout closes road
Cavalry Way by Gannow Roundabout in Burnley (Image: Street View) A road closure is in place after a car crash in Burnley[1]. The incident happened on Cavalry Way by Gannow Roundabout in Burnley at around 10am this morning (December 12).
One lane has been closed while police deal with the incident at the scene. There is traffic building in the area as a result of the crash. Only minor injuries have been reported so police are unable to provide any further information.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Good Morning, we are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on Cavalry Way by Gannow Roundabout in Burnley. “Currently the road is down to one line. The access to the motorway in both directions is unaffected at the moment however the area is very busy.
“Please take this into account when planning your journey.”
Traffic updates website, INRIX said: “One lane closed and queueing traffic due to crash on A671 Cavalry Way Eastbound from M65 J10 (Burnley / Padiham) to A679 Hameldon Approach.”
