Tributes paid to young man who died in Consett crash

Sonny Farrier, from Walker, in Newcastle, was struck by a car on Bogle Hole Lane, near Delves Lane, Consett, at about 1.10pm on Saturday, December 2. Despite medical treatment, he was pronounced dead at the scene. No-one else is believed to have been injured.

“Sonny was Newcastle United[2]‘s number one fan and travelled wherever to watch them.

He lived and breathed football.”
