Two 10-year-old boys have been killed in a 'horrific' crash after their father led the police on a high-speed pursuit in Wisconsin[2].
The vehicle rolled over on an intersection in Delafield at 11.50pm on Tuesday, and four other family members were seriously injured in the accident.
Authorities attempted to stop the car because it was speeding and had no license plates displayed, according to the Waukesha[3] County Sheriff's Department.
The vehicle initially stopped but fled 'at a high rate of speed' and was pursued by two deputies for a short distance before it crashed and rolled over on its own.
The 29-year-old driver's two sons were pronounced dead at the scene, while he, his six-year-old daughter and 14-year-old niece were taken to hospital in critical condition while his 29-year-old girlfriend is in stable condition.

Authorities pursued the vehicle before it crashed 'completely on its own' three miles away from the initial stop.
It rolled over on its side, and the two young boys were pronounced dead at the scene.
While the driver and three other passengers were seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
Waukesha County Sheriff Eric Severson described the incident as 'horrific' but 'preventable.'
'We don't take any actions that would provoke somebody to run from us,' he said.
'The fact that two children lost their lives this morning as the result of really bad decision-making is very saddening to all of us.'
There is a warrant out for the driver's arrest on the charge of a felon in possession of a firearm, the sheriff added.
He is also likely to face multiple charges for failing to stop at the traffic stop and the car crash.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office will review the crash for transparency, and chase policy and procedures.
Sheriff Severson said current information shows his deputies did not violate any laws and 'did their job right.'
'When law enforcement officers get involved in pursuits, it's because people choose to elude us,' he added.
'We don't take any actions that would provoke somebody to run from us.'
An investigation will reveal how long the vehicle was being pursued for before it crashed.
