Two-car crash closes M20 near Junction 9 in Ashford

The coastbound M20 has been closed following a crash involving two cars. Emergency services are at the scene of the incident close to Junction 9 for Ashford[1].

Traffic is being held under the Canterbury Road A28 bridge, with lengthy queues building up. Only one lane of the carriageway initially closed, however, all traffic has now come to a halt to allow the affected cars to be removed.

Police have been contacted for more information.
