Two car crash in East Cowes involving Ford and BMW

The scene in East Cowes. (Image: County Press) A TWO-vehicle crash in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight is causing some problems for buses this morning (Wednesday). Emergency service teams have been called to the scene on Victoria Grove, near its junction with Beatrice Avenue.

The road remains passable but motorists should avoid the area if possible. Southern Vectis buses are having to divert via York Avenue. The crash appears to have involved a Ford, a BMW and a lamp post.

Island Roads workers are at the scene to inspect the damage.
