Two injured and five arrested at Stanley bus station assault

Officers from Durham Police were called to Stanley bus station at around 6pm on Saturday (December 2), following reports of an ongoing altercation involving several people. An 18-year-old man suffered serious injuries during the incident. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A 16-year-old boy was also injured during the incident, but his injuries are not believed to be serious. Five teenagers, all males aged between 13 and 18, have been arrested and taken into police custody, where they are currently being questioned by officers. Recommended reading:
