Two lanes closed on M61 southbound after crash (Image: Google) Two lanes are closed on the M61 southbound after a crash. According to AA Traffic and Travel, traffic is building between junction 30 of the M6 to junction nine of the M65.
Currently, there are delays of five minutes, which are increasing. Average speed is 15mph. The police has been approached for more information
A spokesperson for AA Traffic and Travel said: “Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to crash on M61 southbound from M6 junction 30 to junction nine of the M65 (Clayton Brook). “Delays of five minutes and delays increasing on M6 Southbound between junction 31 A59 Preston New Road (Samlesbury) and junction 30 M61. Average speed 15 mph.”
