Two men in court for Hartlepool vehicle interference charges
The duo were arrested by officers patrolling Hartlepool at 11:30pm on Tuesday (November 5) following reports suspected thieves were trying car doors on Eamont Gardens in the town. A man, 25, was charged with vehicle interference and going equipped to steal, while a man, 24, was charged with vehicle interference and possession of a bladed article. Most read:

Shay Rowbotham, 25, and Lois Cornish, 24, appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court and were remanded into custody to appear at the same court on December 21. A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Two men were arrested by plain clothed officers patrolling Hartlepool at 11:30pm on Tuesday night, following reports that suspected thieves were trying car doors on Eamont Gardens in the town. “A 25-year-old man has been charged with vehicle interference and going equipped to steal, and a 24-year-old man charged with vehicle interference and possession of a bladed article.
