Two people seriously hurt in road crash

Two people have been seriously injured in a crash involving two vehicles.

It happened on the B1506 Moulton Road near Newmarket, Suffolk, at 19:30 GMT on Tuesday.

One vehicle was carrying four people and the other had just the driver inside.

Those who were injured were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for treatment.

The road was shut overnight following the crash, reopening at about 05:25 on Wednesday.
