Two seriously injured in Devon A-road lorry crash

Two people have been left seriously injured following a multi-vehicle crash near Newton Abbot[1]. Emergency services rushed to the incident at Two Mile Oak on Friday (December 1) after two cars and a lorry crashed. Road closures were put in place on Totnes Road for several hours while emergency services dealt with the scene.

The road reopened at around 5.40pm. In an update today (December 4), Devon and Cornwall Police say two people suffered serious injuries. A spokesperson for the force told Devon Live: “Two people sustained serious but not life threatening or changing injuries.

“The road was closed whilst the vehicles were recovered and reopened at around 5.40pm.”
