Two-vehicle crash in Cheltenham sparks emergency service response

Emergency services rushed to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Cheltenham[1] this morning (December 1). The collision happened on Park Place shortly before 9am. Pictures sent to Gloucestershire Live[2] from a witness showed a red car and a black car involved near the junction with Andover Road.

Both vehicles were damaged and there was a spillage on the road. Gloucestershire Police[3] have since confirmed that no one was injured in the crash. Crews from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service[4] were also at the scene to help recover the vehicles involved.

A witness told Gloucestershire Live that there was a lot of traffic in both directions on Park Place at around 9am.

The road has since cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
