Van flips onto roof in Glasgow street following crash with parked car as man arrested
A man has been arrested following a crash in the north[1] of the city. Officers were called to Hawthorn Street area of Springburn[2] at around 8.35pm on Tuesday, December 12, following reports that an accident involving a vehicle and parked car. Images from the scene[3] show a van lying on its roof in the middle of the road as emergency services arrive on the scene.
There were no reported injuries.
A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He was later released and will appear in court at a later date.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Around 8.35pm on Tuesday, 12 December, 2023, police received a report of a vehicle hitting a parked car on Hawthorn Street, Glasgow. “There are no reports of any injuries and a 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. He was released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.”
