Watch: Major incident declared after large fire at South Wales industrial estate

The Welsh Ambulance Service declared a major incident after a large fire at an industrial estate in south Wales.

Videos show emergency services at the scene on Severn Road in Treforest, Pontypridd, as huge plumes of smoke can be seen rising from the site of the fire.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing a “massive explosion”.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said a number of crews have been sent to the area.
