A circus show in England's Great Yarmouth was called off on Wednesday night after an acrobat fell from a height of 33 feet while performing a stunt.
The acrobat, Jack Jay who was in his 20s, was riding the Giant Wheel of Death at the Hippodrome Circus on December 13 in Great Yarmouth when the accident occurred, reported BBC.
Jay who fell from the rotating wheel broke his shoulder, arm, and leg, said the ringmaster.

The show was halted immediately and the police and ambulance services were called for aid. The victim who is from Colombia spoke with BBC and said that the accident seemed to be a human error and that no fault had yet been found with the equipment.
He further called the incident an unfortunate momentary lapse, adding "a slight adjustment to the timing and a very serious outcome,".
Hippodrome Circus also released a statement about the accident and said that one of their stunt performers fell from the giant wheel, but remained conscious.
Jack immediately received medical attention, and paramedics and was shifted to a hospital for further treatment.
A witness said that the performers were blindfolded and one of them slipped or tripped and fell to the ground, according to the report. To shield the acrobat, a screen was quickly brought on to the arena, quoted BBC to the witness who wished to remain anonymous.
The circus continued its usual business on Thursday night, but without its Giant Wheel of Death performance.
