New year, new skill at Padium
Get a head start on new skills for the New Year at Padium, the premium padel club in the heart of Canary Wharf. The impressive glass courts are located at Bank Street Park, where everyone is welcome, whether you’re a first-time player or practically a pro.
The facility offers a world-class experience for the sport that combines the tennis scoring system with the tactical ricochet shots of squash. There are seven indoor courts and one outdoor court at this state-of-the-art experience, where you can rent rackets or buy your own in the pro shop.
Beginners can join their ‘Intro to Padel’ sessions, led by professional coaches via Playtomic, so you can learn essential techniques, rules, and tactics to kickstart your padel journey, or you can pay as you play. Come on your own or with a group of friends, book one-to-one coaching sessions or bring up to three friends and learn together. They also offer junior coaching courses for younger players.
For those who know the score, the Centre Court allows for run-outs during games and is also equipped with an AI-camera that analyses your game and gives you detailed statistics.
Afterwards, head to the Ace Bar for a drink, a quick bite and to recount the details of the match.
